Failing to present appropriate citations in the article can be considered as theft of the data and the submitted manuscript will be treated as a duplicate and may lead to rejection.

Even the self-plagiarism is not encouraged and authors should follow a proper referencing format for citing even their own articles. Acceptable limit of any kind of plagiarism in the manuscripts received is 20%. In case of finding more than 20% of plagiarized content, the editorial office will inform the authors and demand an explanation on the issue. The corresponding author should revert with an explanation within 20 days of receiving the letter from the editorial office.

Further processing of manuscript will not be carried out until a valid explanation is received by the editorial office. If the author's explanation is found acceptable, the review process will be resumed after making the necessary changes or providing required references. If the authors fail to provide an explanation within the given time period or fails to come up with appropriate reason, the manuscript will be rejected and is listed in the retracted articles. This may even lead to the cancellation or debarment of the authorship.
